WEB 2.0

WEB 2.0 allows us to create our own media as producers and consumers. Because of this we can cater for our own needs within the media market, which allows us to chose what we want to watch and when we want to watch it. As students we have easy excess to high speed internet connection, which permits us to do alot of work on the internet itself. WEB 2.0 has changed the media, due to social networking sites, video sharing sites, wikis and blogs. Sites such as Facebook and Youtube are examples of this. The internet era is unbelievably popular, and is arguably more popular then television. Television which has been around for over 40 years has been decreasing in popularity, due to the internet which was discovered about 10 years ago. When the internet era reaches it's peek, TV critics are worried that the internet has the strength to overpower the usage of mainstream TV.
